Kefalos is situated at a distance of 40 km southwestern to the town of Kos. It's a beautiful small town built upon a hill, with the houses clung one to another and narrow streets, quite characteristic features of the architecture of the islands, which make strolling around a very intersting.
The worth seeing place in Kefalos are "the traditional houses" that is in fact a folk museum, the ruins of the old castle which situated just off the main settlement and the beach in Kefalos that is probably the most beautiful beach in Kos and the most famous one with beautiful white sand and crystal blue waters.
